I have for your consideration a S&W commercial 1917 .45 ACP revolver.

It is one of the very last pre-war Commercial 1917s. It was apparently made 1939-1941. It is tight and in good shape. Mainly some holster wear for the finish. The pre-war Magna grips are original and numbered to the frame. This one is rare and unique enough that a S&W Factory Letter has been suggested, but I'm not taking the time to mess with it. The collector within me weeps. The shooter giggles with exultation...

The pics posted are just to catch your eye. Message me and I'll send ya' all the detailed pics and info I can muster.

I'd like to see $1500 shipped from Alaska for this one. Comparable ones I've seen for this price were much rougher looking.

I'm willing to consider trades and partial trades, but I am admittedly fickle and unreasonable without much method to my madness, so...don't be offended if I say "no". I like .38s, .357s, .45 Colts, and .22s. Some older 9mm and .45 ACP. Primarily revolvers and lever guns. Maybe nice .22 rifles and autopistols? Steel Challenge, silhouette, USPSA, PRS rimfire, etc.

Thanks for taking a look!
