S&W 25-5 load info

I am new to this forum and hope this is the correct place for this? I am looking for a safe but effective load Load for my 25-5 using Hornady XTP 250 gr. Bullets. The powders available to me are Unique, Bullseye, Power Pistol, 2400, titegroup and VhN350. I am looking for a load that I can shoot regularly that has good power and accuracy. Any help is appreciated.

9 grains Unque. 900 or a little more FPS. Below max load, so its safe. Accurate as can be. I have shot THOUSANDs out of my 25-7.

Hi there, welcome to the forum! My favorite load for the 250gr Hornady XTP is 9.0gr (Max) of Power Pistol, standard large pistol primer, right around 900fps out of a 5 1/2" barrel and accurate out of my .45 Colt revolvers. This is a standard pressure 14,000 PSI load so no worry's there. Same load with a cast lead 250 or 255 gr works well too.
