Are all S&W 5 screw "Regulation Police" revolvers in .38 S&W, not .38 Spl, or were they made in both calibers? Post war as well as pre war? Thanks, Anthony

The Regulation Police was offered in .32 S&W Long and .38 S&W. The 5 screw RP models were built on an I frame which wasn't long enough to accept a .38 Special.
