I just inherited this gun and trying to learn it’s age. I read the forum page and think I have all the info required. Model 29-2. I have attached some pictures. Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum! I took the liberty of rotating your photos for a better view. You've inherited a nice 6" blued Model 29-2 with the mahogany presentation case and tools that appear to have been well cared for. There are lots of .44 Magnum and Model 29 fans here on the Forum! 22hipower has nailed the date of manufacture of your revolver based on the s/n. I own a 4" Model 29-2 (N464411) from the same time period. The 29-2s are great revolvers- very nicely made and finished. They are also excellent shooters and very accurate. Enjoy!
