Was wondering if you can remove magazine catch without disassembling the lower of the gun.

It has been a long time, but I believe so. You may have to remove the grip, but maybe not. That said, why would you want to remove it? There is no reason to remove it in normal use.

If you remove it, take careful note of how far in the catch nut is screwed as it must be screwed down just the right amount or the mag is either too easy to remove or nearly impossible, if I recall correctly.

Wanted to replace mag catch spring , I've replaced all other springs to update the springs dont think they've ever been replaced
