S&W 460 10.5" Holster

I'm looking for advice on a holster for a 10.5" Performance Center Model 460. Google is yielding very lean results. Does anybody have any recommendations or experience with holsters for this revolver?

I forgot to mention that I'd like to buy a holster capable of accommodating a scope.

You might want to check your model number again. The 640 is a J-frame, most often found with a 2-1/8" bbl., sometimes found in a 3, 4, 5" variant. I've never heard of a J-frame with a 10.5" barrel length, but maybe I am just ignorant.

I suspect you mean a 460, which is an X frame. Doing a search of holster makers who do hunting leather for the X frames should turn up what you need, but you may be looking as custom made, as I doubt the market would support anyone having much inventory in what you're looking for.

Pictures of the gun in question are always helpful.

You are correct, I meant 460.

I may be wrong, but S&W may have made a holster for it at one point.

I think Allenframe has one but for a 8 3/8. Best of luck on your search, and post pics once you find something!!

Holster for scoped handgun

I bought a holster to accommodate my scoped S&W 500 w/6.5" barrel and a 1" compensator. S&W didn't make my holster; S&W farmed the job out to Trophy Gun Leather in Austin, TX.
