I have a 500 I just bought and have fired about 150 rounds through it. I take the whole thing a part when I clean it. One thing I noticed that came in the box was another front sight. This model is the 8 3/8" barrel with the fixed compesator. How is the front site changed on this gun? There are no set screws visible on the sides. I was wondering if the screw is under the fixed compensator. I don't want to take it a part, but was just wondering how that fixed compensator comes off. The owners manul show how to take off the removable one. Any ideas?

If it is like my 460 XVR, the front sight is spring loaded and held in place by a pin. Push the sight back, and try to push the cross pin out under the front of the sight.

That's it. Thank you very much. A little tight but after I put oil in there is works much better.
