s&w 640 question

i just picked a 640 38spc. from gun show, ser. no. BNF87xx what year and can it stand +p ammo, not a lot as it is a house gun? no book with it. anything else you can tell me about it. thanks dave

I can't tell you when it was made but those are very fine little guns. The best of the breed IMHO. It can stand as much +P as you can.
