My local pawn shop has a S&W 645 for sale at $599. It is in good used condition you can tell it has been shoot but do not know about carry. What would be a fair price for it. Sorry no pictures I know that helps.

Nice pistol at a decent price. Maybe slightly at the high end of the scale, but they are excellent pistols. You don't say what else (if anything) comes with the pistol but it doesn't hurt to try to dicker the price a bit.

Too high

In mho it's about $75 to $100 too high. unless it's in perfect condition. However, keep in mind the fact that they are becoming more and more scarce. People who have them are beginning to hold onto them, soooooo...

From a California perspective (IMHO):

LNIB . . . . .$750-$800 (really hard to find)
99% . . . . .$700
98% . . . . .$650
95%-97% . $500-$600

Here is what a LNIB looks like . . . (and yes I'm pretty proud of this one ;))

Beautiful example there, I purchased one new back in 1985 and let it go after 6 months (needed some cash) and have always had regrets. I picked one used not long ago and it shows a bit of cosmetic wear, paid 500.00 here in NC.

I believe I gave 400.00 for my new one in 1985.

I gave 400 for mine with 3 mags, LN, no box. It was my last duty weapon, still have it. Good shooter & easy to shoot well. Would be challenging to conceal but that was not a concern for me. Would make a good home defense gun.
