Hi. Im looking for the Miami Classic ii for my 686 4 inch revolver.
I cannot seem to find any pictures of a 686 in this holster though.

Also, on the left side, what will be in place of the magazine pouch?

Thanks

What are the differences between the Miami Classic 1 and 2 in regards to the Magazine pouch?

And pictures of a 686 in a Miami classic ii would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Check out the Galco site. The Miami Classic II is only for 1911's, and the Miami Classic will work with some auto loaders and S&W J frames. Neither will work with 686's apparently. Possibly one of their other offerings would. I didn't look that far into it.

I see that Falco....

I see that Falco makes one for the 686. I'm glad you brought this up, I'm looking for one, too. It seems that there are 10 styles of belt holsters for each shoulder holster. I've GOT to have a shoulder holster.

If you look at Galco's website, you will see that you can buy all the individual components to make a "Galco shoulder rig". They just don't sell a "ready to go" package like you can get for the bottom feeders. The holster, ammo carrier and/or speed loader carrier, harness, screws and tiedowns are all listed as individual components. So I'm sure you could put one together. I'll post a link. I'm still debating on a shoulder holster or two for S&W revolvers.

I am also looking closely at Andrews Custom Leather, their monarch rig looks like it might be promising.

I think Ted Blocker also has shoulder holsters available.

Yep, I just bought/built a couple Galco SS2 shoulder rigs - one for N frame and another for K frame. Though they will fit any revolver for a particular frame, they are "one size fits all" for barrel length, i.e., any barrel length greater than 2.5", the barrel will protrude. In other words, if you order a holster for your 4" 686, 1.5 inches will protrude from the holster. I really like the quality and "build your own" system approach, which allows you to design a rig that meets your needs.
