Guys;

We took delivery of the Governor .45/.410 recently and have two holsters available for it. The first is the GOVERNATOR slide, forward cant, wet case molded, reinforced mouthband. Compact, conceals well, fast to the draw.

The other is a modified KODIAK scabbard, which offers hi ride and full coverage of the weapon. We are working on a few IWB designs as well. I'll post a photo here and in the vendor section in a day or so. If there's something in particular you'd like to see for the Governor, let me know, we're open to suggestions for new holster designs.

Cheers;

ON THE CUTTING EDGE AS USUAL, LEFTY........

We were a bit on the edge, literally, with this one. The revolver is somewhat controversial and it's anyones guess how successful it will or will not be, in the marketplace. So although we want to be able to offer our clients a variety of designs for the Governor, we thought this first model slide would be the best place to start. It is a very robust revolver. On this holster, we dropped the balance point down lower than most conventional pancakes and made certain we could accomodate up to a 2 inch wide gunbelt for good support. On subsequent models, we will be crafting a wider mouthband than that seen on the first prototype sample. I don't know how many Governor models have been sold to date, but we announced holster availability pretty early. We're on the fence with some other designs, except for the KODIAK, which is a full cover pancake.

Both holsters are fairly large and require mucho cowhide to construct them for the Governor. We'll see how the market responds to the Governor and go on from that point with development. Have any of you guys bought one?

I THINK S&W WILL DO WELL WITH THIS REVOLVER, LEFTY. THE ATTRACTION (FOR ME AT LEAST) IS THAT IT IS CUT FOR MOONCLIPS AND .45ACP. BEST WISHES FOR SUCCESS WITH YOUR VENTURE. TO MY KNOWLEDGE, YOU'RE THE 1ST TO OFFER A HOLSTER FOR THIS WEAPON. 40 YRS AGO, I WOULD HAVE JUMPED ON ONE OF THESE FOR CCW. AT THIS AGE. I AIN'T EVEN BUYIN' GREEN BANANAS..........

C'mon Joe....your too tough an old bird to be buying green bananas anyway. Besides, the ripe ones are less expensive and taste better. Just like a good bottle of wine, age has some advantages if you look for them. Keep your chin up man!

LEFTY, YOU ARE SOOO RIGHT (HMMMM--DOES THAT MAKE SENSE). I TRY TO FOCUS ON THE THINGS I CAN STILL DO EACH DAY, AND BE GRATEFUL FOR THEM.
