S&W grips help to id

not sure if this is the correct Forum for the question anyway I’m looking for help to ID these grips they came in a trade and were in a bag marked for S&W 28. They just look a bit small for a N frame
looking on eBay I see several that look the same, they call them magna grips so they may be correct.

The wood grips are definitely N frame square butt Magnas and appropriate for a model 28. They would date somewhere between 1969-1973

The ones on the left look like the ubiquitous Franzite plastic stag-look grips.

they are definitely a really hard plastic…actually pretty nice looking

Agreed.
CJ1, You can lay one of the plastic panels on top of corresponding wood panel and see if it is same size to confirm they are N frame too.
The old plastic grips tend to distort, shrink over time…they don’t usually fit well.
