I finally broke down two weeks ago and purchased the S&W m&p 15X. I am very pleased so far and can't stop looking for accessories to add to my new gun. Also can't wait until my wife has a chance to fire it. Any suggestions on a new stock?

Do you live in a collapsable stock banned state?

Nope, I live in Colorado, where I have not heard of any collapsible stock restrictions. The only restriction I have read about is a restriction in Denver for having clips with more then twenty rounds.

I can't decide which stock to get; the Vltor imod or the Mission First Tactical low profile battlelink. Could anyone give me some feedback on the two?

Well just got the Mission First Tactical low profile battlelink stock today and got the spikes T2 buffer last Thursday. Hopefully the weather clears up so I can go to the range later in the week.

Congrats! The X is my personal favorite! It's the one I wanted, but bought the A instead since when I bought mine, I got the A on sale for 870.00. I'm still eye balling the X on bud's guns, they are about a 100.00 bucks cheaper than I coulda bought the X for, when I bought my A. I love that rail on the X! If you decide you don't like the rail, PM me, I'll buy it!!!

I installed the Vltor Emod (similar to the Imod) stock on my M&P15 OR. I haven't found a single thing wrong with it. It's was installed for my last 4 day practical rifle course and it worked great. Here is my Vltor Emod review on the stock.

Got a new scope on the way from Cabela's. I should have my new Leopold Mark 4 HAMR with delta point tomorrow. So excited to go shooting after this gem is sitting atop my m&p 15x. I'll put pictures up after I mount it this weekend.
