For sale - Original S & W M1917 45ACP revolver.
This was my grandfathers WW1 service revolver. His name was Frank A. Kendig and his initials (FAK) are carved into the bottom of the wooden grip. He was an officer and an electrical engineer. It has been sitting in a box in the holster for almost 100 years. To be perfectly honest looking at the gun and knowing him I doubt very much if it has ever been fired. The original blueing is almost mint. There are some slight marks on the cylinder from rotating it but I suspect that those are from me playing with it when I was a kid and not knowing better. I have never fired it and I'm 59. The gun comes with the original case and some original WW1 ammo and half moon clips. Number on bottom of hand grip is 52209. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Price - $ 2000 plus shipping firm. Not interested in trades
