Went to the local gun show and traded for a 19-1 (year 1961) no box,maybe 98% or 99%.
paid too much ofcourse,but I wanted it. #K458543 4 screw frame

Dick...Model 19-1s are scarce to rare and a great variation for your collection. All of the 19-1s I know of were shipped in 1962.

I have a 19-1 459xxx shipped Sept 62
very nice find, The finish on mine is a bit darker than my 19-3s
