Just south of St. Louis,
Gents, I have read the posts about adjusting the yoke screw in order to loosen up the cylinder BUT that really didn't work in my case. Yes, with the screw/bolt all the way out the cylinder does swing out of the frame easier but still not like I think it should. Certainly not like any of my other S&Ws. Is there something else that could be causing the problem? The latch moves forward just fine with the normal amount of effort but you really have to push on the cylinder to get it to swing out. The pistol fires just fine in either single or double action. Suggestions? Thanks, Rich

I'm having the same issue with my 629-4.

It was fine until the last time I took it to the range.
Everything seemed normal when firing it.
If I hit the cylinder with the edge of my palm, it opens easily, but it sticks with just finger pressure.
