I have been reviewing the 2012 catalog and have interest in the title .357 revolver. It is a medium frame (L) and light at 30 ounces weight.
However, I wonder how accurate and comfortable it would be shooting since it's almost a pound less weight than the Model 686.
I have owned a model 686 so I am somewhat familar with it's recoil.
Comments on this selection would be appreciated. I am not married to the 386 and could be swayed back to the 686 or Model 586. I rather like blued revolvers so the 586 is just my cup of tea. What would sway me would be a good used 686 since the 586 is new to the line.
Checking the 33 edition of "Blue Book" I note the 586 was in production until 1999 and has been brought back in 2012.
My interest is in only the 6" barrel version.
I thank you in advance for your comments and suggestions.
