That is a beautiful revolver, I've always like the handling and feel of the 581's the 681's are nice but they don't have the appeal the blue ones have
Thanks for showing it

Question: Can anyone tell me whether the 581, 586 are susceptible to the same "sticking" problem of the early 681, 686? Am I looking for the same 'M' stamp if I find one? Thanks!

SWEET !
And in beautiful condition .

My model 58 (see avatar) was carried by a Motorcycle cop in Louisiana , it rains a lot... and was rode hard and put away wet several times .
Grips are Ahrends Cocobolo Retro Combats .

Shooting yours a little wont hurt the value ... it's fun too ...
Shoot and enjoy !

Yes, in theory, out to the -2 variants, but it is a variable issue.

Very nice! :D
I'm a big fan of the L-frame guns. But for some reason I've never found a 581 around here. They've been on my wish list for years.

Outstanding!

My 581 is my only L-frame. Cabela's had it in their used gun area for ~$400 out the door, which was pretty silly for a 95+% example. I have not decided yet on getting the "M" modification- it shoots fine as issued.
