Not clear if S&W's copies were licensed, or if Sweden ever
protested the Model 76. In 2010 I met a genuine, real-deal
LRRP veteran who carried one in Vietnam, and he loved it--
still raved about it, forty-some years later.
About 5 years ago one sold on Rock Island. It was owned by a long time S&W collector who is no longer active and I have the original box/papers numbered to that one.
Unfortunately Rock Island was unable to put me in touch with the buyer so the box will probably end up going on an auction.
