Could we have a home for the S&W MP 300 Blackout/Whisper?
We have home for MP10 that isnt even out yet

Quick question I've been wondering about since you sould like you would know.

If I put an S&W 300 Whisper on my AR15 lower, is it essentially the same rifle or are there subtle differences, and if so, what are they?

Its my understanding that you may want a separate bolt, for each upper. I believe this may have to do with wear.

A separate bolt for each upper is best (but not necessary).

I know plenty of guys who are running the same bolt in each upper and not having any problems. Remember guys, each rifle is different from another. Some have very tight tolerances whereas others dont.

I think i know which one i enjoy shooting the most, lol

I kinda like all of the info in one place. I think the .308 is a little more of a deviation from the .223 then a .300. Just my 2 cents.

5.56 and .300 blackout go together like a Shield .40 and the Shield 9mm barrel. You cant ask for any more versatility than what u have between the 2 of them.

I didnt know this so they must use the same mags also.(the Shield) I just order the 40 barrel for the 9mm And those 40 mags will hold 9mm rounds and then I am ready to go?
