S&W PC Auto Collection. *ADDED A FEW TO THE PILE*

Here's some info on that model, from the 3rd PC Flyer, printed around 1990-1991

Thanks for sharing this. Very, very interesting. Could someone please comment on what these guns cost at the time. I realize the price would vary depending on the options selected.

I am now taking up a collection for a new keyboard for my iPad. My excessive drooling from looking at this collection shorted it out so I need a new one ;)

Really though, that is a beautiful collection!!!!

Here's a better scan. The only pricing in the flyer is for the Stage 1,2 and 3 pistols, the Competition Pistol is "to be determined".
One could extrapolate that the Competition pistol would be well into the $3k range (list) at the time.

dotdsd334 is the matte black pistol a PC 4506-1?

If so, can you tell us anything about its history? Does it have a PCZ serial prefix?

I'll try and attach a pic of my one of one PC 45CQB Prototype. It was used in the American Handgunner article on same. Regards 18DAI

No sir...custom 1006. Story at purchase was old S&W employee gun that was worked over by Performance Center. Waiting for my historical letter to get the actual story but a reliable source states he may have a significant history. Will report back when letter is in hand. Either way.....one of my favorites!

Beautiful examples of the form...thanks for sharing.

Man, pics of the 945s and 952-1 sure make me miss mine (had a 5" and two 4" 945s, one fired and one unfired, and an unfired 952-1 (a work of art, if there ever was one)). The 4" 945 was, in particular, a favorite...much like Dorothy says to the Scarecrow, I think I may miss that one most of all.

Performance Center 3566 356 TSW experimental model.

Holy cannoli! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

My eyes! My eyes! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

First "XPX" anything I've ever seen!

Experimental versions of the 3566 Limited and 3566 Compact! In-freakin'-credible!

Thanks, Rolling Stones, and do us a favor before you post any more of your pistols -- warn us first so we can don protective eyewear! :D

Love it!

Even though the Super 9s are not Performance Center firearms, they are a pretty cool idea.

It is nice to have one platform that can handle 9MM, 9x21 or 356TSW depending on the needs at the moment. Though truth be told, I have become quite fond of 356TSW over the past year and have not shot much of the other calibers.

Myself, I have a more compact version of the big Super 9 concept
