I bought a 5903 a while back , that was a police trade in . It seemed in to be in very good condition with the adjustable sights , after various reloads I can't make it more accurate . From the bench at fifty feet 4" groups are best . I believe it can be better with a better trigger. Does anyone out there that had the 3rd gen action job from the performance center believe this could help ? I see it cost $160 plus shipping , so can someone tell me what they think ?

If its the only pistol you own, the wait stinks.
If you have others, its like Xmas when it comes back home :)

If you have a REALLY GOOD G-smith in your area, who has a Sterling Reputation...
might be worthwhile if you are in a hurry...

Or you can, if your metalworking polishing skill level is decent, do it yourself, BUT...
Read everything you can before hand. Watch many vids.
Follow the Dang Directions, as deviating from known methods can be BAD.
Do Not Change Any Angles, most especially that of the Sear.
Use your head.

How bad is the trigger? All of my 3rd gens have great triggers and they too are all LE trade ins. The 5903 is a defensive pistol. Maybe 4" at nearly 20 yds is all it is gonna do:confused:

Will the Performance Center even work on 3rd Gens anymore?
