There is a pre model 10 on Legacy Collectables with a 99% condition rating from 1948. It looks mint. Price is $695 no box and it has been there for a month. I think that is a fair price but I already have a few. If you want one mint with no box check it out.

For what its worth, i just bought a clone of CajunBass's in post #10, 5 screw, 6" barrel today at a show just with no box or papers for $520 out the door. It was in PA.

I have an August 1950 C124*** that cost $575 with transfer fees in 2019, a forum purchase. 2" "big" Chiefs Special. Fair price, great gun. 10's are great shooters.
