Does anyone have the S&W M&P R8? How about some pictures and feedback on this gun?

I have one and I enjoy it very much. The R8 is a fine revolver that works wonderfully for bullseye shooting or action shooting. Here are a couple of pictures:

That is the holster I use for it, a Simply Rugged sourdough pancake. A fantastic holster/revolver combo.

Here it is with an eotech mounted on the supplied rail that bolts to the barrel shroud. I have gotten ragged one hole groups from this set up at 15 yards with HBWC 38's. That three piece barrel is incredibly precise. Note how dirty the revolver is, I shoot it often. I have sent thousands of rounds down range with this revolver and it has only required one trip back to Springfield to tighten up the barrel nut.

And last but not least, how about a bunch of Performance Center revolvers, two eight shooters, a seven shooter and a six shooter.

I have a TRR8, which is the detachable bottom rail version of the R8. Also had a loose barrel nut, but i made a spanner wrench and it's been fine ever since retightening.

I like the concept of having a weapon light, but the positioning of the light is much further forward than on my auto pistols. Makes activating the light in short bursts much more awkward.

The top rail does allow the use of quick detach optics whilst retaining the iron sights. And somewhat more flexiblity in optics choices than having the rail machined integral to the barrel shroud.

But I think I'd be more comfortable with a stainless or blued steel frame. Can't give you a good reason why, though!
