I purchased a M&P 9MMC in May and mailed therebate info in at that time. I called S&W customer service in August and was advised an outside company was handling rebates. I called the company and they advised I should have my mags by late August. I called S&W customer service Sept. 17, listened to the recording abotu rebates then pushed 0 to speak to a human.
The person that answered told me that they do not have record of my request for rebate !!, call the outside vendor. I called the vendor who advised that my info had been transmitted to S&W electronicly for fulfillment. I called S&W back and was told I had to speak to a certin rep who handles the rebates. I was transfered and he was out of the office.
I left and message and he did returm my call.
He advised that they do have my info and it lloks like end of October (no year advised)
for shipment.

I submitted the rebate form for my M&P9c back in March. I have since recieved the check, but still no mags. I've called S&W twice, and both times got the standard "couple more weeks" reply. Backordered mags is one thing... I understand it was a popular promotion... but 6 months?? Nice gun, nice price, but it's still a little frustrating not having received the whole package that I was sold.

Getting the free magazines are almost always a better deal, unless you get the MP15, because you can get AR-15 mags for about 13 dollars each.

Follow up to my rant: 2 12 round 9 MM compact
mags arrived but did not have the finger extentions.I called S&W customer service and
had them in less than 1 week.
