Original owner of this pristine Model 41. I bought in 1962 and verified with Roy Jinks with serial number. A tack driver still shoot it for the pure joy. Notice the cocking indicator pin at the rear of the frame. These were only on the very early models.
Only have 2 Gen III's so far. The 4006 with the adjustable sights shoots like a dream and I'm nearly sure can tell in the photo, Mother's Mag & Wheel polish worked wonders on the finish.
Here is my personal carry weapon back from the GS. Frame is sprayed with Ridgeway Blue Cerakote. Custom Brass bead front sight. Hogue Overmolded rubber grip.
Managing a LGS has its advantages...I am directly in line behind the owner to dibs on the used guns coming in. In reality it seems that I am the only one with a thing for older S&W's.
