In for a penny, in for 165 grains. Here's my PC Shorty Forty that I inherited from my younger brother.

It's not a collection yet, but who knows...
My first SW pistol, a 3913 Ladysmith (edit: first 3rd gen; first SW was a .40 Sigma)

Saw her languished for months on a gunshop shelf. I was impressed by its quality and accuracy, so a couple of months later came...

Model 6906 purchased from a fellow shooter

Accuracy on a par with the LS encouraged me to look for another one...

So came this 3913TSW, incredibly NIB

I thought myself predestined to accumulate 3rd gen compacts, but I was wrong...

Model 5906, recently purchased.

This one shows some superficial scratches, but couldn't let her go.
Between firing sessions, I like to imagine wich one will be next... 3906 w/adj sights? plain 3913? CS 9?

MY 4566s

All,

My local SoCal Gunsmith got me into the 3rd Gens. Right now, I have six (2X 4566s, 2X 4003TSWs, 1X 645 [1988-vintage, so it qualifies as a 3rd Gen] and 1X 3913).

I tried in vain to get a 4566TSW so I can mount a light. No luck here in Kalifornia. Despite the setback, I had my gunsmith mount a Novak Stainless M1913 rail to one of them (it fits perfectly) so I can mount my favorite X300. The DevGroup switch is for the SIG P220/226. It also fits perfectly. It would fit the 645's square trigger contour too in case you're wondering.

I had the replacement S&W grips stippled by ROBAR. Many ask about them. To me it affords a decent grip without being too bulky, like the Hogues. They also don't 'stick' to clothes like the Hogues do.

The guns were both Atlanta-area police turn-ins and required a modicum of 'de-lousing' to be up to my (read: USMC) standards of cleanliness.

I mounted a set of Ed Brown Competition Safeties that I bought on Gun Broker. I thought I got 1/ea, but I purchased nine (9) in the deal. Two of the 9 were for the 9mm/.40 guns, so the 4003TSWs wear them as well. Good piece of kit if you can find them...

What you see is my brace of 4566s. I'm working on the 4003TSWs. One of them will have the rail removed, while the other will be the dedicated 'Rail Gun'. The X300's toggle switch backplate can be removed to give 3/8-inch extra travel for the TSW rail. The TSW rail only needs about 1/32-inch of material removed to fit the X300. EASY.

I'll send pics of the 4003s whence they are complete. Hope the picture posting works!

My S&W family

My Smiths are a 357 Magnum, circa 1992. A 22A-1, my first gun ever, Oct. 2011. Finally, the one I have been lusting over and just got this past weekend, a 1911 Series E 45.

Heres another old 39 that was presented to then Detroit Police Commisioner, Johannes Spreen, when he retired in 1970.

The model 59 no dash looks cool with modified 39 grips on it.

Then there's those model 46s. Almost always find them in mint condition.

I also own a 46 but it has the detachable weight on the lower front end of it. Yours looks great as well the way it is. They are great guns to shoot. :)

Converted .223 to .222 rem.mag. rifle

Rather rare rifle, in Belgium at least... converted to .222 rem.Mag, because at the time we needed an extra license for .223. Now we need a license for both, with a waiting periode of approximately 3 months if we're lucky...
