What is your issue with S&W?
I've never had anything but excellent service from S&W. Prompt, courteous, and in most cases free except for repairing a pre-warranty 624. In that case the fee was less than a local gunsmith quoted me.
I sometimes question S&W's recent quality control, but their customer service is top notch.
