Help! A friend of mine owns a "Straightline" that someone had tried to lighten things and went too far..therefore ruining the trigger/sear engagement.
Another friend that is a NASA aerospace machinist/ gunsmith has re-built these parts and now we have a problem with it breaking the newly made firing pins after about 10 shots.
We don't know if the material for the new pin is too hard and brittle or just what the answer might be.
Any help on this is GREATLY appreciated!! This is a fairly rare and unusual gun...or so it seems.

If any one of you has an original firing pin for sale, we would be keenly interested in that as well. Or if you have 'smithing experience on this particular model ...we would love to hear from you as well.
