I put this here because it is technically not a s&w firearm but I am not sure if they made it or not, it has their stamp. Move to appropriate forum is this is in the wrong one....

So social distancing has me going through more of Dad's stuff.

Many boxes to go. Every day is like Christmas I find something new, interesting and exciting.

Here is the latest. Plastic Smith & Wesson J Frame Replica.

Airsoft? Something else? Has a c02 tank I believe.

Anyone know what this is? Collectable? Year made? What it "shoots"?

It's never boring when I open one of the boxes....

Looks close enough to get you killed on a dark night if pointed in the wrong direction........

My LGS has one modeled after the M19.

It was on the back shelf behind the counter, I've got some real deals peaking up there. Hey Ross, make me a deal on that beater 19 sitting back there? He smiled and handed it to me, What the *, that thing could get you killed. Most realistic CO2 pellet gun I've ever seen, pre red tip.
He's still got it, and plays that game with the regulars.

Yeah, I have a full sized Sig P226 replica that is so realistic you can't tell by looking at it unless you are close enough to look down inside the barrel to see the 6mm tube inside.

You have to operate the slide to cock it and when you fire it the slide reciprocates, magazine release and safety both work just like a real one and everything. You even load the plastic BBs into the magazine.

Very realistic training aid if you want to get good with the Sig semi-auto manual of arms. The biggest difference you notice is that the weight is only about 2/3 of what a real one would weigh.
