The 547 is chambered for 9MM/380. I was asking if anyone has seen or done a 547 cylinder machined out for longer 38Super. Pressures can be kept about same as 9MM if not loaded to 38Super+P ammo. I do not have the gun with me right now. I cannot remember is cylinder chambers are tapered as the 9MM round is.

However the 547 and it's beryllium extractors are a unique eccentricity in the Smith & Wesson lineup
