It is with a very heavy heart that I post here today. My good friend and absolutely invaluable source of info Thom Braxton has passed away. I got the call from his wife with the news last night. He will be missed greatly by anyone that knew him. I was lucky to have had him in my life and there will be sadness in both our families for the loss of a great man... rest in peace brother and God speed...

Awful news. Unfortunately, my only face to face meeting with him and Debbie was in the Kissimmee WalMart parking lot over 15 years ago. he bought a box of ammo I no longer used and he was thrilled to get it. This was before he went "out west." Nicer folks are hard to find. RIP. Joe

OMG,
After all these years I was finally going to meet him at the Lakeland gun show this month.
Rest in peace my friend, I will have a wee dram of single malt scotch in his memory.

So sad and so sudden. I've never met Thom, but read all of his posts that I happened across. Very knowledgeable collector. I would have looked forward to meeting him in Lakeland. R.I.P. Thom.

I had an email from Thom a couple of days ago asking if we could finally meet at the upcoming Lakeland show. We corresponded for years and hoped to meet during those years. Thom was a straight shooter, a career Federal law enforcement officer and a very nice guy on top of that. My condolences to his family, he will be missed.
Respectfully,

My condolences to his family. May he have eternal peace.
Although I didn't know Thom personally, he provide very good advice to me about 7 years ago, an old nickel-plated M&P, which I was very appreciative.
