SASABERANGER & The ICU

Thom,
Great to hear you are on the road to recovery. Yure a tuff old coot.
Hope to see you and Debbie next spring while you are on "vacation" in Wyoming.
Regards,
Iggy.

My best thoughts and prayer you'll feel and
get better soon..Stay positive and stay swinging😁
Best Randy..

I am on the mend...slowly.
I don't have to use the walker here in the house, but pack it in the car if I go anywhere.
Stamina is improving...slowly. My appetite is good. I like eating what I want instead of what they served. Really no complaints from either facility, they are both doing the best they can right now.
Home Health has visited twice. RN is tracking my health and PT is working to getting me back on my feet.
A great big Thank You to all of the forum members who have hit the "Like" button on the post or sent well wishes.
Everybody stay safe and healthy.

I spoke with Thom today and he is doing well. He had some internal bleeding they could not identify the source of. Had to give him 11 pints of blood before bleeding stopped. He's a pretty tough guy, but I think his wife Deb is a real brick. It's good to have him back at home and kicking!

I'm no medical professional but 11 pints of blood sounds like an awful lot and not ever finding the cause.
Hope things improve.

My apologies for not seeing this post until now. Prayer from Texas for your continued healing and recovery.
