The only Model 19 2.5" SB I ever saw was a Model 19 4" that I had a 2.5" barrel installed on.

My friend had two model 19's with 2-1/2" barrels on them. They are way heavier than my 4" model 66, or at least feel like it. I forget what dash they are though. Older ones for sure, well used, and pricey. A friend traded a brand new (Raffle win) engraved Henry 45-70 lever gun for the more worn of the two a couple of weeks ago.

My ffl has a 66-2 2". Thick square type barrel, it looks sanitary. Any info?)

M19 and M66 2.5" were issued to lieutenants and above, agents, and pilots in my old agency - all were RB.

Keep the 4 inch and buy the two and a half inch. Four of my six model 66's are P and R. $899 is an excellent price for a nice pre lock 66.
