SC printing issues ?

Some nuts and bolts.

I often hear people say that a gun conceals well under a tee shirt. I no longer wear tee shirts except to mow the lawn or go to the gym.

A camp shirt can be worn anywhere a tee shirt can be, and an un-tucked camp shirt conceals a weapon far better than does a tee shirt.

I found that dark colors seem to show the print less than do white and light colors.

I have found, counter-intuitive, that pressed shirts print less. A wrinkled shirt tends to hang up on the gun far more than the smooth pressed shirts.

In the cooler weather I will add a vest. It will eliminate all printing issues and allows me to carry a Glock 23 completely undetectable on a speed scabbard.

What if you were wearing bicycle shorts, carrying a gun with a 6" barrel IWB--this would certainly print and most everyone would see an outline of a barrel and frame, right? Is that concealed? It's covered, but not concealed--in my opinion.

My CCW trainer (in SC) said--concealed means concealed, someone looking at you and not being able to tell of you're carrying or not.

But why not call your local city & county police and ask them. And maybe the SC Hwy patrol too. They should want to pass along info to keep a law abiding citizen out of trouble. You might also call SLED who issues the SC CWP and ask them.

I choose to try to be completely discreet--no printing or disguising it to look like something else--cell phone in pocket, etc.

Just my 2 cents...
