Really?? In the case of smoking, there were roughly 40,000 deaths from second hand smoke.

The truth as hard as it seems it that we love to smoke (or chew) and we love to drink when we smoke. And when we get done drinking, we often aren't smart enough to hand over the keys.

It boils down to as long as it's not YOUR ox getting gored, it's okay.

Let the government ban all liquor and all tobacco use and watch what happens ...... It's called a riot and it's not all that simple.

The analogy doesn't work. None of those things grow exponentially through the human population via ongoing transmission.
 
We really are two countries right now. To listen to democrats and conservatives, you'd think there were two very different diseases. Maybe we all really are entitled to our own facts.
