This one doesn't belong to me, but I thought it interesting.
Second Model Schofield, barrel cut to 5 inches. Grips replaced with horn and the whole revolver is very "used".

It definitely has character! It has obviously been carried and used - a lot. You can still see rifling in the barrel and while there is no blue left on the revolver, there isn't heavy pitting.
It is actually not that loose, but I don't think I would shoot it.

Nice post, Joe. I have several of these 'character" guns, Schofields and Americans,- you can tell they have been there, done that! Couple of them have horn grips, either buffalo or steer horn. I love 'em! Ed.
