Is that like the 'Ballet Theater for the Blind' on SNL? The performers were missing people that were tossed to them and falling all over the place, when somebody stood up and said that it was a good try but it was awful and downright demeaning. Turned out the ballet company wasn't blind, the audience was.

Hope it all works out for you. As for the wet shoelaces imagine what the teachers here in the snowbelt go through with little kids and snowsuits mittens overshoes etc. Seriously though God bless you for your efforts, I'm sure that for some of the kids you are the brightest part of their day.

A band job should be pretty good! Band is an elective, and for the most part the students want to be there. Odds are better you won't have to be a jail warden. Good luck!

Jar wrench was a good ear last night. She said DCI experience doesn't mean you can teach. It means you've got a wicked 8 to 5 and do your part in a show. That was it in a nutshell anyway so if I get an interview I have a defense /rebuttal in confidence now. She said that and I wondered why I didn't think of it that way myself.

Also our conversation was longer, deeper, and much much saltier than what I've shared.
