Scored a Model 66 at LGS

Actually this is the second deal I got in this same store,
Bought this 629-1 about 6 months ago for 850.00,
For some reason all the used revolvers are priced really good but most other stuff is somewhat pricey. This 629-1 is also in perfect condition with no marks, dings or anything but again no box or documentation.

this is a 66-3 that i found about two years ago at a lgs. these are spegel boot grips that are on the gun.

Gonna pose my 66-1 in my microwave after I fire up my shop vac and vacuum it out. . ..

Here is my 66-2. It was my first gun purchase when I got old enough to buy one and it is still one of my favorites. The first picture is with the original grips and the second is how it is now, with a set of Kuracs.

BTW, anybody notice anthing strange about this -2 model.

I think as long as it has either it should be marked a 66-1.

I'm gonna have to move to south florida, I've seen a bunch of good finds on the forum come from there. Maybe all the 1980s drug kingpins had big collections.

Yep that'd been priced $700 min here in north Texas.

I just found this 66-2 at a local pawn/gun shop. Came with orig box and papers. Sorry the pics just don't show how clean and unused this gun really is. I need to work on that if I keep it long enough.
That's my wide glide underneath it. It's pretty too.

Correction... my gunsmith observed my post... called me... and asked me to do something. Pop the cylinder... and look down at the hinge inscription. It DOES INDICATE MODEL 66-1. Like a young goose... I learn something new everyday.
