Hey guys I have a few scratches on the two recievers of my 15-22. They arent really visible if you're not looking for them except one big one. They just bother me because I know they're there. Anyone know how to fix them?

I've found that most of the time trying to hide a scratch only makes it more noticeable. Most gun shops usually sell liquid, paste, or scratch pens you could try.
Scratches happen if you use your guns and I consider it to be honest wear. If you look at most any gun closely enough you will see flaws, nothing to be ashamed of or worried about too much.

Thanks for the reply what the. Now that you mention it, I kind of like it with a little bit of wear on it.

Leave it, it gives character to the weapon.... Take a look a a soldier's weapon, it looks like sh&t, but it's tried and tested and has that look of experience... so if anyone ask, give them that 2000 yard, been through hell and back, stare... it works... sometimes..

scratches happen. it sucks, & it will happen eventually to guns used frequently. by all means help prevent them, but its the nature of our sport. rounds go off, explotion, burnt powder, residue, so on... our sport is not peaceful, its very dirty, noisy, violent. which i love. god bless america

Amend "rfontes", amend....... I should of asked him if he wanted to trade one that looks good in the shower for one that works... haha.
