Hey Guys,
Sorry I haven't been on here in a while, life has been busy around here.
We'r working on Mag extensions for the SD as well as a Polymer AEK Trigger for the SD to go along with our already available SD Carry Kit.
I'm going to be looking for a couple of people interested in testing (and keeping) the mag extensions and AEK Triggers.
Anybody interested?
I thought this was a good place to ask this, I didnt want to start a new thread for just one question. I recently installed the apex spring kit and the trigger pin was a pain to get out. I had to tap it out with a hammer, did anyone else run into this problem?
The trigger pin CAN be a PITA the first few times. I thought of using a hammer but then realized that only a little spring is holding it in place and damage to that spring could be bad. You basically have to wiggle the slide lock up/down/left/right while applying pressure on the pin to get the spring to release from the seat it is in.
It took me a good 10 min or more the first time! You also can try from both directions for removal. I kept reading that you HAVE to remove it from a specific side but mine came out easier from the opposite side that was recommended. Patience is key. No need to get frustrated while having a gun in hand!![]()
Thanks. Ya I got the side right, from right to left. I ended up getting it out but when I put it back in it locked in tighter than it did before. I didnt know to wiggle the slide release. Ill try that next time when I upgrade to the AET trigger.
Still waiting for mag extensions Flork!! When are they going to be released to the non-cool crowd?

Hey guys, Just an update.
We had to put the Meg Extensions on Phone Order Only due to the new laws in CA and other states. The site shows they're out of stock, but we have them on hand, so orders need to be called in. Sorry for the inconvenience.

They're in the hands of the anodizers now. We expect to see them within a couple of weeks.
