Good morning all,
If anyone has had problems with chambering or ejecting could you please point me in the right direction.

If the round goes in the chamber, and fires, it doesn't seem to want to eject the casing. It gets caught on the way out.

Otherwise, it seems that the rounds won't chamber. I've tried a couple different magazines and rounds with no luck.

My son has a sd40ve and has had no problems whatsoever.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure.... but i am sure someone will come and give good advice.
Best of luck and hopefully you will have her running right soon.

Has anything be done to the gun? has this just started out of the blue?

Look to see if the ejector is broke.

Need more details. Best thing to do is take it to a knowledgeable shooter at a range, then go from there. I'm sure S&W will be happy to help, but they'll probably need more info from you as well.

These were the first shots - new out of the box. As for ammo, I have tried: JHP, FMJ, lead, factory new, & reloaded. So far no luck.

Nothing appears to be broken when field stripped. Spring and rod were good, no apparent damage to the barrel.

Thanks guys. I think I'll give S&W a jingle and see what they say.

I have a SD9 with the same issues. The chamber is extremely tight. I can take the same rounds, factory or my reloads and they chamber and eject fine in my 5906,669 and M&P.

Going to call S&W tomorrow
