SD9 VE issues

Limp wristing has more do do with your famiarity to a particular gun than basic experience.
I prefer to shoot a good mixture of FMJ's before trying and SD rounds.
200 minimum to start. But that's just me.

But if the same problems are happening even with another shooter then you might not be the culprit.
Sadly there are sometimes a lemon falls in a bushel of apples.
I know of some pistols that will not shoot WWB but the constant problems seem to be the gun.

Contact S&W CS. They will do right by you.

No offense, but if you are not able to diagnose the problem in person, please do not alter your pistol based upon advice given by folks who are trying to help without having either watched you shoot, or having shot the pistol themselves. It needs to go back to S&W for warranty work. That model is known to be very reliable, and if it is not, then by all means, send it in for warranty work. Did you buy it brand new from a reputable retailer? Are you absolutely sure it has not been modified by someone prior to you acquiring it?

I just want to thank all replies to this issue.
It was picked up today by Fedex heading back to S&W hopefully for a repair or replace. I really like the gun and want it to shoot like I see in those videos. I will tell you that Bersa Thunder9Pro is a great gun pumped 300+ rounds through it from Federal Champion to Perfecta, I am impressed with the Bersa Thunder9Pro. Just hoping that SD9 VE upon return can perform better.

Another ?, I heard that you can get a stainless steal spring replacement for that SD9 VE is this true, if so where not having any search luck yet.

Yes brand new and was purchase from a long standing local gun store that I have been shopping for years. That is why when I shot it I was like "WHAT" I cannot believe this, I even did try different ways of holding the firearm while shooting it and nothing mattered out of 265 rounds did not get a single full mag thru it. My Star BM is like 20+yrs old and still fires great. So does that Bersa Thunder9Pro, like butter firing that gun.

Hate to hear this, but hopefully S&W gets everything ironed out for you. I have the SD40-VE and absolutely love it. I did have one issue of the slide not going completely into battery, but that was from an intentional limp wristed shot. A light bump to the rear of the slide and she fired that round too. This line is a great series of pistols, but a lemon could have slipped through. Even Mercedes and Lexus will have a lemon every now and then. Here's to getting you pistol back so you can finally enjoy it...

Thanks for your reply, yeah I hope when I get it back everything works out. I did have another person fire that handgun that day and it still messed up on him. I even tried several different shooting styles and hand holds to make sure it was not me, it still messed up. I was amazed when this happened and everyone is right a lemon can slip through sometimes but lately it always seems to be me. Smith&Wesson will figure it out and send it back and take care of me.
