I had a bunch of junk ammo that I put into a plastic gallon bag that fit easier in my range bag than the boxes. All sorts of stuff, from Norma Ecospeed to Aguilla, to Winchester, Golden Bullets, etc... probably a good 2-3k rounds. After a few range trips the ammo has become sticky like it was soaked in soda or candy. It hasn't effected functionality but it feels gross handling it. I am guessing on a hot day maybe some of the wax coatings melted, maybe? The bag is sticky where it made contact with ammo as well.

Anyone else ever have this issue? If so, is there a remedy for this like rubbing alcohol?

Put how ever much you think you will use in a bag and squirt it with gun scrubber or carb cleaner.
Empty the bag afterwards on a cloth and massage it.
I would only do small amounts that you will soon shoot.
