If I'm not mistaken, the SAF engages in litigation, and donations are tax deductible, the CCRKBA engages in advocacy and lobbying, and they are not tax deductible. Both seem to be good organizations. I'm a Life member of the NRA, SAF, and CCRKBA, but have shifted most of my donations to the SAF these days.

Lifetime Member here. Also, for anyone in Louisiana, the Louisiana Shooting Association (LSA) is a good one to join as well. Good people.

Thanks to the OP for posting this. I am in the NRA and the ISRA, but was not aware of the SAF. After a bit of research, I opted for the Lifetime membership yesterday. Looks like they do a lot of good for us.

My daughter joined and donated also. She is a little unhappy that the organization that she belonged to for years, in her opinion is not what it once was and glad to support the SAF.
