Is that guy who faked the lunar landing photos still on the payroll?

Be safe.

Now you can see why O is so down on carbon based fuels.

Very bad shot was it about dark or is the photographer the president kid?

Too much haze for that kind of shot. The best pics like that are done in winter right after a cold front passes.

Also, nice bubble reflection from the canopy.

No one that has been around aviation photography for any length of time would call that a professional job.

What a lousy photo.

With the advent of digital photography the skills of true photographers have been lost.

Now with digital shoot away and edit it to make it better.

With film there is only "so much" manipulation that can be done in the darkroom.

But that is a lost art.

And the $300K was the cost of the aircraft only. I expect that the photo cost about $1.79 at the local Wal-Mart.

What's 300k to "the one"? He has lots of taxpayers to pick up the tab for him.

The dinginess of the photo is meant to show us the state of the union after 4 years of communist control.

I wonder if we blew that pic up if we would see Rev. Wright, Spielberg, Striesand and a few others waving.

Almost a 1/3 million buckeroos for a fairly
lousy picture. I think the taxpayers should get
a refund for this silliness.
Not a very good pix at all. The aircraft looks
almost dingy yellow where it should be fairly
bright white. Looks like dingy yellow laundry.

But you have to ask the real question..
At a time when the economy is supposedly weak,
and government should be trimming waste and
unneeded costs, you have to ask why on earth
do we need yet another batch of pictures of
this particular Boeing 747?
I can tell you why. The gifted one is very fond
of his air mobile throne room, and he wants his
own personal set of pictures that he can send
out to his flunkies, suck ups, and maybe even
one to his brother in Africa.

I suppose no harm in that, but I think he
should pay for them if *he* wants them. There
were already loads of suitable photo's already
available. And they look a heck of a lot better
than that one.

...looks like just before the Invasion of the Orcs when the Darkness of Saron was upon the Kingdom of Middle Earth....

It's too bad that it was not thought out and communicated better--if you think about the office (rather than just its current occupant) and the country it represents, I actually think that it makes for an inspiring shot (once it's had five minutes of 'shopping).
