....for the volunteer upgrade that they are doing on the trigger. It was a fairly easy process. They send you and email with instructions, and FedEx emails you a link where you can print the label. The only aggravating part was having to drive a good distance to a FedEx hub, but even that wasn't too bad.

They said it would take about 4 - 6 weeks to get my pistol back. So, for the moment, I'm back to using my Shield for my carry weapon.

I personally know two people who sent their P320 pistols back to Sig for the "Voluntary Upgrade". One had her gun back in eleven days, the other is now on his fifth week and no gun. The second one also had a caliber exchange kit sent in as well, which may be the reason for the delay.

I don't have a Sig P320, but own twelve others. I am a fan.

It seems strange to me that someone was asked to send their P320 back for the upgrade 5 weeks ago...I'll explain why.

A friend was over at my place about a month ago and we were shooting his pre-upgrade P320. It began having issues unrelated to the trigger and I suggested he send it in for repair. When he contacted Sig, they agreed it should go back. He asked whether they could do the upgrade on the same trip (saving Sig one full roundtrip freight) and they said they were not prepared for upgrades yet.

He sent the gun, a week or so later it was back and NOT upgraded. As best I remember, all that was within the past 5 weeks.

Very mysterious

I sent two in for the upgrade. The first was back on the sixth day, still waiting on the second, both were Fedexed on the 20th. The trigger is visibly different, much like a slim and smooth Model 10. Weight of pull seems much the same and the reset is quick and tactile. I like the P320 and am happy with the upgrade. Sig stepped up on this and deserve credit.

Nice video from Sig about the upgrade. Hadn't seen it until it was pointed out to me by another Sig owner. I don't own a 320, nor do I want one, but I am always interested in how things can go wrong and how they fix them. Good luck with your upgrades.

Very informative video. It's nice to see the details on what the upgrade will entail. Good to see that Sig seems to be doing everything they can to correct the issue. I'm looking forward to see how the upgraded gun does on the range.

I'm still waiting for my turn. This thread has made me less nervous about potentially screwing up something that wasn't broke.

Just an update - I got an email this morning with the tracking information where they are sending my P320 back. It is scheduled to be here tomorrow. That was quick!

I do not understand how they are prioritizing the upgrade process. Some people are having their guns turned around in 7 days or less but mine has been there since 10/19/17 and nothing.

That does seem odd. It might be worth giving them a call to see if they have any information. I honestly figured mine would take a lot longer initially.
