Sharing my first S&W

Welcome! I too am in one of those "banned" states, so I tend to focus on revolvers. Fortunately, I was able to get a nice selection of "standard capacity" firearms before our bans took effect.

S&W autos are a fun rabbit hole. Wheelguns, more so. Good luck on finding your collecting niche and what you truly enjoy shooting!

Great looking pistol! Nothing wrong with a single stack magazine. You shoot it well too. Good luck on your auction, just a warning.... Smith & Wesson autos are extremely addictive!!!!

Welcome Aboard Pizoidian!

Yours is a nice-looking 439. It's a wonderful model. Indeed, it and that indoor range pictured with it in one frame reminds me of a good-looking 439 I saw a couple of months ago at my usual new-and-used gun haunt whereupon an acquisition I'll drive another 10-miles or so and hit my usual indoor-gun-range haunt and shoot away.

Whatever, wherever yours, may you enjoy that M39 and possibly the 3913TSW you're bidding upon ... both are marvelous firearms.

One suggestion: Check out a four-video series (that explains how to disassemble a Smith & Wesson as well as learn how to make the trigger action more to your taste. NOTE: The videos will not explicitly tell you how to get that trigger action, per se, but if you pay attention, take a few notes, you'll figure it out. Search a favorite video place (figure it out, too) for "blubelly2 Smith Wesson" and you'll walk away with plenty of needed and necessary knowledge. I did.
