I couldn't resist posting on this very 12 day.

I fired 100 rounds of 115 grain Federal Champion with zero problems.

I changed out my stock sights for XS Big Dot.

You will sacrifice tight groups but you can acquire the target faster.

The XS Big Dot are not for target pistols in my opinion but serve well for ccw.

For a pistol like the shield, id want the quickest acquisition sights anyways. Its not meant to be a 50 yd "tack driver."

good shooting, anyways!

Took my Shield to the range today too. Put 130 rounds of 115 grain FMJ Federal Champion ammo through it without one issue. Had Trijicon night sights put on it last week. The sights didn't make me any better, but thankfully no worse either.

You forgot to mention what range you were shooting...

Good shooting Russ, particularly with a new pistol that does buck a little bit. My summer carry is a Kimber Solo (9mm). Winter carry a Kimber Crimson Ultra Carry II (.45 naturally). Frankly my Kimber is easier to shoot and more accurate. I haven't had the Kimber Solo issues many have mentioned. It'll even shoot the light 115 WWB, but it ain't no target pistol. I keep 147 gr Winchester Rangers in it, and hope to never make it go BANG. My 686+ and 586 no dash for just plain FUN shooting out the black!

Shot a female friend of mine's Shield. Nice gun. Not as sexy as some, but a sweet shooter for a micro. Next to the Solo, best striker fired trigger I'd say. - hutch

Today at the range I had the opportunity to shoot my firend's Taurus 905 poly snub nose 357.

There is an incredible difference between the 38 and 357 round.

I shot 3 shells of 357 and I was done.

My friend purchased the firearm for his wife.

If he ever puts 357 in the gun his wife will divorce him.

No joke it left an impression of the grip in my palm.

The kick was similar to a hot load 325 grain 44 magnum.

I can't imagine anyone target shooting with a snub nose 357.

I am glad I had the opportunity to shoot a snub nose because I was thinking about buying a Ruger LCR for the wife. After today I will buy her an Ipad, I value my marriage.
