Shield 40 and "regular" M&P 40

All this talk here of mag drop. Is this a problem for the M&P 40SW 15B? Or is it just a shield thing?

Neither my Shield 40 or 40FS drop the mags while shooting. I do wish S&W would give us a heavier mag catch spring though.

No mag problems with my Shield 40. "All this talk" sounds like a small noise in a tin barn. Little noise, lots of racket reverberating around..

I agree, people are looking for a way to knock on the Shield. I personally love my Shield .40 it rides shotgun w me every time i leave the house. Its a great gun, along w the rest of my M&P's.

My Shield 40 does not have any problems at all and just like all my other M&P's is reliable!
